Well, let me see… I would say
that I am just trying to keep all of those little critters over there alive… all
my crickets and my isopods, and our eco-columns. Yea, that’s our science unit. So every morning I am just coming in hoping
that they haven’t escaped and they are all still alive. We have fish.
We have pillbug isopods; we have snails, crickets. We keep them through October or November. (Stay tuned for some of the experiments the
fifth graders do in this unit). Science
is my favorite. I did AMSTI this summer,
and we learned how to do these eco-columns, it's what they are called. And, so that’s what I am thinking about –
just hoping and praying they have not escaped and are not dead.
