Having a parent as a teacher is really fun because my dad lets me go down to my friend Mason’s room. His mom is Dr. Womack. We do have to get to school really early, about 6:30. That part is horrible. Me and my sister share a bunkbed so my dad just taps on us and turns on the light. It is so bright! Then, I climb down the ladder, and then my mom, she picks us clothes for the whole week so we get to choose which clothes to wear each day – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. When we get here, I stay in my dad’s office and I draw some. I also go in the gym when people start getting here. Overall, having dad as a teacher is a good thing.
